As we age as women, the one thing that seems to be transcendent throughout the years is confidence. Confidence that we can handle whatever comes our way, with grace, dignity and beauty. The beauty comes from that inner strength we all have. However, many of us remember the beauty of our youth and compare ourselves to that. I am here to tell you, to instead, look how far you have come, and believe that the beauty that was plain to see in your youth is still there in our inner light and radiance.
As you may imagine, I get a lot of feedback on this type of women’s portraiture from a variety of people being a Jupiter photographer. Recently one comment really struck me. I think it was supposed to be a negative comment, but I took it as a positive, cuz that’s just me ;-). One gentleman (I use that term loosely) mentioned that if all women did this that there would be less divorces. At first I thought this was a very sexist thing to say, but the more I though about it the more I realized that he was absolutely right. If more women could re-connect with that inner light, with that beauty that radiates within us all, and feel the confidence that that experience brings. All of the people we love will benefit from the renewed sense of confidence and beauty. Maybe there would be less divorces because more women would be feeling more confident and rejuvenated, and that spark that joined them and their spouse could be rekindled. So come join me in helping to reduce the rate of divorce in our area! Book your session the month of May and get a FREE 11×17 Hello Gorgeous calendar! Below are a couple more of my favorite quotes. I am never seem to get the original author so they are posted as unknown.
“Believing that you’re beautiful is the first step to understanding your worth as a woman. Unknown
“There is an inner beauty about a woman who believes in herself. Who knows she’s capable of anything she puts her mind to. There’s a beauty in the strength and determination of a woman who follows her own path. Who isn’t thrown off by obstacles along the way. There’s a beauty about a woman whose confidence comes from experiences. Who knows she can fall, pick herself up, and go on.” Unknown
Keep spreading the good karma,
